Perhaps something of ours would make a great gift for that someone special!
In keeping with the 20% Off, we are also offering our beveled canvas wraps at 20% off as well. This is one any beveled wrap ordered during February. Check out our Photo Shelter Personal Archive today to see over 3000 photos to choose from for a special image to put on a beveled wrap. Sizes start at 11×14 and go up to 30×40. Advice to others
While building a small business, work in your business field if possible to get experience! Doing that also may give you valuable contacts that can lead to a much brighter success. That is what has transpired on this end!
Recently while working a photographic firm we made a valuable contact with Bart Peters, the owner of Big Creek Hunting Preserve in Sparta, Wisconsin! Big Creek is a 100 acres of hunting grounds that are professionally managed for wild game. The owner leads hunting trips, has a hunting dog service, trains hunting dogs, and more! He is very interested in meeting with us to drive in more traffic for both of us. So, we are meeting with him at the preserve to figure out how we can work together–from doing portraits on his property to bringing commercial clients to him for hunting trips, to doing photographic trips, to doing wildlife photography and more.
This was great news to us and it invigorated us to reconnect with Lane Hokanson–Active Adventure Concierge Service to beginning a more in depth discussion on parting with his organization to photograph events for his corporate clients. Since we at Solid Rock photography have gotten our Product Catalog now available for download, we are poised and ready to network with others who would be a good business partners. In a sense, that is one way to survive this volatile business environment.
We are also setting up meetings with our local Chamber of Commerce, Project Mainstreet, and a group of retired business executives who offer free business consolation services to small businesses seeking to enlarge their business. Additionally, we are working on promoting the Austin Area Art Center which we are also a part of. Network, network and do some more networking but remember to be selective with the networking once you have gotten beyond the initial contact.
So, work in your field, network, put a professional appearance together for your industry and then use all of the social media options available today to get the word out about what you can all do! Stay informed with Solid Rock Photography by following us on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WordPress, Google Buzz, or Stumble Upon. If we can be of any help to you, please let us know!
